Honor, Courage, Commitment: Marine Corps Art, 1975 – 2018

The show “Honor, Courage, Commitment: Marine Corps Art, 1975 – 2018” is currently on display at the National Museum of the United States Air Force in Dayton, Ohio thru Dec. 9, 2022. The exhibition of 36 works of art from the Marine Corps Art Collection echoes the core values of the Marine Corps, which are embraced by every person who has earned the title U.S. Marine. The exhibition is divided into three sections, each illustrating how Marines embody honor, courage, and commitment in all that they do. Rudinec & Associates is proud to have worked with the Marine Corps Heritage Foundation on the design and production of the display panels, posters and handouts. Reproductions of the artwork from this exhibition are available on RequestAPrint.

Color Space, Color Depth and Color Profile

Color Space defines the number of colors available for a pixel. In sRGB Color Space, at 8 bits/rgb channel each pixel records 256 shades of any color. It’s Color Depth (tone value) range is from 0,0,0 (black) to 255, 255, 255 (white). This produces about 17 million colors (16. 777, 216). It’s said that the human eye can see 10 million colors. Do you need a color space with values outside of the visual range?

A Color Profile calibrates a device to display a color.
